Yellow Productions didn't wait for this homage to fall in love with one of Brazil's most beautiful singers, Salomé de Bahia! Yellow Productions has indulged in a caring and creative passion with this sublime singer for eleven years now. This declaration of love was revealed in 1994, uniting Salomé de Bahia and Yellow Productions on "PSYCHODELICO" by Reminiscence Quartet, followed by a fabulous honeymoon in the underground scenes all over the world. The world tour overflowed with congratulations, ovations and triumph.
This beautiful love story is as strong as ever. We now invite you to celebrate its "cotton" anniversary with the new album "BRASIL", filled with captivating flavors and composed of its greatest hits "OUTRO LUGAR" and "TAJ MAHAL"… Along with major French and Brazilian classics such as "COPACABANA", "PAIS TROPICAL", "FIO MARAVILHA", "LANCA PERFUME" and "VOCE ABUSOU/ FAIS COMME L'OISEAU" in a duo with Michel Fugain… And bursting with unreleased tracks to heat up the dance floors. Salomé de Bahia always keeps it lively!
We love her for her mix of musical cultures - ranging from her love of bossa nova to African music by way of French songs by the great artistes such as Piaf - not to mention her sensuality, charm and warmth… Bob Sinclar couldn't help but fall under her spell and rolled out the house music red carpet for her. This dynamic and tender understanding paved the way for a fantastic adventure. He asked her to make a personalized Latino version of the Stevie Wonder hit "ANOTHER STAR", which he produced in 1999. The challenge was met with success! Renamed "OUTRO LOUGAR", the single was a true planetary hit.
The vivacious South American diva and her mentor never left each other's side and toured the world with dancers and musicians in a continuing success story. "TOURMENT D'AMOUR" was the hit of summer 2001 from "CABARET", the first Salomé album, featuring musical partner DJ Gregory. The ultimate honor came in 2004 with the new version of TAJ MAHAL, originally written by Jorge Ben, which recalled Salomé's origins and became an object of her admiration! This major Brazilian hymn to the summer solstice will whisk you away on a voyage touched with sensitivity.
