Maurizio Nari Biography

Maurizio Nari started DJ-ing many years ago, in the golden age of the Romagna Riviera. One of the most successful and prolific artists on the Italian dance music scene, his career has spanned many decades.

Nari is still making the world dance to the funky house groove of Acetone, the label he founded with Jens Lissat in 2021. His success as a producer began in the 90s. In 1995 he met Ronnie Milani and together they created Nerio's Dubwork. Their hit "Sunshine & Happiness", featuring the amazing voice of Darryl Pandy, reached number 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart in 1999. Nerio's Dubwork later became Nari & Milani, who performed in the most important clubs and festivals around the world, such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. Their 2012 track "Atom" was voted best track of the Winter Music Conference in Miami and their radio show "I'll House U" was broadcast by the American satellite giant SiriusXM.

After 11 years of success, Nari & Milani split up, but Nari continues his endless adventure in music and creativity. He's not only a DJ and producer, he also runs Scuola Cinema Cesena, a film school in his hometown in northern Italy.
